Allegiant Announces Nonstop, Low-Cost Travel Service Between Stockton and Palm Springs With Introductory $39.99* Fares


STOCKTON, Calif., Aug. 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) announces new, nonstop jet service between Stockton, Calif., and Palm Springs, Calif., will begin Oct. 28. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Stockton residents with fares as low as $39.99* one way.

The new flights will operate two times weekly between Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK) and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) with service Monday and Friday. On Mondays, flights will depart Stockton at 10:15 a.m. arriving in Palm Springs at 11:30 a.m. Flights leaving Palm Springs will depart at 12:15 p.m. arriving in Stockton at 1:35 p.m.. On Fridays, flights will depart Stockton at 4:10 p.m. arriving in Palm Springs at 5:25 p.m. Flights leaving Palm Springs will depart at 6:10 p.m. arriving in Stockton at 7:30 p.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route. Allegiant began low-cost, nonstop service to Las Vegas from Stockton on June 16, 2006.
