DENVER, Aug. 19, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nine months after its 2010 re-launch, CLEAR, the nation's largest biometric secure ID program for airport security, is celebrating its success with more than 20,000 Denver-based members. Since November, more than 250,000 passengers have sped past the long TSA waits and instead through the CLEARlanes in Denver International Airport and Orlando International Airport.
CLEAR has convenient enrollment centers at Denver airport and at Fuller Sotheby's realty offices at Cherry Creek Shopping Center, the Denver Tech Center, and Boulder. But for five days in August, while the Global Business Travel Association Conference is in town, CLEAR's mobile enrollment will be truly mobile -- on the Denver Cupcake Truck, making stops all over Denver including the GBTA Conference Center.
At each stop, CLEAR will be giving out free cupcakes for new members and those who 'like" the company on Facebook. They also will be offering additional incentives including free CLEAR trial memberships and t-shirts.
"Our Denver members have proven enthusiastic and loyal," said CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker. "They are an important part of our success and it's important to us to celebrate that as well as spread the word to non-members."
Individual CLEAR memberships are $179 per year. For companies with 5-24 employees, the annual rate is $165; for 25 or more it is $155. Each member can add a second household member for $50 with the Family Plan. All children under 18 may use the CLEARlanes free and without enrollment when accompanied by a member.
CLEAR's mobile enrollment will operate on the Denver Cupcake Truck with the following itinerary:
