Inc. Magazine Names 3Degrees to the 2011 Inc. 500|5000 with Three-Year Sales Growth of 119 Percent

San Francisco, Aug. 24, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. magazine today ranked 3Degrees number 2,118 on its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. 3Degrees joins Spirit Airlines, television maker Vizio, Honest Tea, and Dunkin Donuts among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list. This is the second year in a row that 3Degrees has been named to the Inc. 500|5000.

Methodology

The 2011 Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2010 (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired). The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
