Safety Services, North America’s largest provider of safety compliance and training materials, was founded in Yuma, Arizona in 2005 by safety consultant Devon Dickinson. The first year of existence the company’s 10 employees sold "Do-It-Yourself" weekly safety meetings to the construction industry.
Despite the crashing housing market and closure of many construction companies Dickinson’s company was able to make $400,000 in year one.
Since then company’s annual revenue has grown to more than $12.5 million. The growth facilitated the opening of a new corporate headquarters in Tempe, Ariz. employing more than 150 people.
