BETHESDA, MD--(Marketwire - Sep 13, 2011) - According to The Interface Financial Group (IFG), business lending is improving for some small businesses but for others like the construction industry, or new businesses with no credit, obtaining bank financing is nearly impossible. During the month of August 2011, the Small Business Optimism Index fell down by 1.8 points to 88.1, the sixth monthly decline consecutively. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), 99 percent of all independent businesses in the United States employ fewer than 500 people, while small enterprises account for 52 percent of all the workers in the U.S.
