Independent, third party consulting company Deque Systems issued the VPAT after assisting in Echo360's modification efforts.

The certification covers the EchoPlayer and the EchoCenter course portal. Screen-reader compatibility with optional lecture transcription is available for blind and low vision learners while closed captions assist the deaf and hard of hearing. The software also offers keyboard-only navigation options for users unable to utilize a mouse. Echo360 has also designed its technology in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG), which were developed to ensure that web content is accessible to a wider range of users with disabilities.
