BroadVision Launches the Clearvale Social Enterprise Transformation Program

New Program Combines Social Business Best Practices, Coaching, and Trial of the Clearvale Platform for Effective Social Transformation

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leader in social business solutions, today announced at the Enterprise 2.0 Conference in Santa Clara the immediate availability of the Clearvale™ Social Enterprise Transformation (SET) program, a 90-day process for assessing readiness, planning, establishing, and refining a social enterprise ecosystem.

Using social tools and techniques, BroadVision helps businesses around the globe effectively transform the way they work. These techniques define SET as an easy-to-follow program designed to help companies avoid the pitfalls of failed social initiatives. The SET program helps organizations secure executive mandate, plan strategy prior to technology implementation, establish communities to generate content, encourage participation, drive adoption, and evaluate success using the Clearvale social enterprise platform.

"The hardest parts of implementing any business software solution are preparation and planning for long-term success and this is certainly the case with social networking software," said Dr. Pehong Chen, Chairman, President, and CEO of BroadVision. "With the Clearvale Social Enterprise Transformation program it's not about implementing a tool, it's about transforming the way companies work and partnering with them to establish a social enterprise."

Throughout the SET program, a Clearvale team will partner with organizations by regularly meeting with them during their social transformation. With the support of their Clearvale team, organizations will complete a self-assessment where they examine how they work today and also determine if the company is ready for a social transformation. To establish business requirements, organizations can use one of Clearvale's pre-built social use cases as a template or they can create custom social enterprise transformation plans tailored to their unique social networking needs. At the end of 90 days, the Clearvale team will conduct a follow-up assessment to show how social they have become using a series of metrics around connectivity, activity, and popularity.

As part of the SET program, BroadVision is conducting a survey that is designed to establish an industry baseline of data on how companies are working and collaborating today, assess their own readiness for a social transformation, and how those efforts are impacting business. To participate, please visit the social enterprise transformation survey page on the Clearvale website.
