Epocrates Appoints Board of Director Peter Brandt as Interim President and CEO


SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Epocrates, Inc. (Nasdaq:EPOC) today announced Peter Brandt, a member of Epocrates' board of directors, has been appointed as the company's interim president and CEO. Brandt succeeds Rose Crane who stepped down from her position as president and CEO. The board has formed a search committee and initiated a search for a permanent replacement.

He currently serves on the board of directors for Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals and the Population Council.
