One of the biggest agricultural companies in the Baltic countries, Agrowill Group, increased the area of cultivated land by 15 percent. The 2012 season, a group of companies will cultivate about 22 thousand hectares of land, where continues to grow cereals, oilseed rape for external sale and fodder crops for Agrowill Group milk farms activities.
The increase is influenced by these main reasons: 2000 ha, which were previously subleased, were recovered by Agrowill Group, AB, also around 500 hectares are newly rented lands and 340 hectares of land are bought from the state.
