Laser Mirrors From Laser Research Optics Are Ideal for Dirty Environments

PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwire - Dec 7, 2011) - Laser Research Optics has introduced a full line of CO2 laser mirrors that are made from molybdenum and ideally suited for low- and high-power lasers used in harsh, dirty industrial environments.

LRO Molybdenum Mirrors are made from this intrinsically hard material that does not require coatings to achieve > 98.1% average reflectance at 10.6 micron at 45° AOI, with < 1.9% absorption and scatter. Designed for use in dirty industrial environments, molybdenum mirrors have no coatings which can degrade and are suitable for low- and high-power lasers.

Manufactured from pure vacuum ARC cast low carbon molybdenum, LRO Molybdenum Mirrors are offered in 1/4" to 1" dia. sizes for low power lasers and 1" to 3" dia. sizes for high power lasers, with thicknesses from 3 mm to 10 mm. Suitable for lasers from 20 watts to kilowatts in power, applications include laser engraving, marking, laser cutting, hole drilling, and welding.

LRO Molybdenum Mirrors are priced according to size and quantity. Price quotations are available upon request.
