Jyske Bank passes EU capital exercise

Jyske Bank took part in the most recent EU capital exercise coordinated by the European Banking Authority (EBA). The purpose of the capital exercise was to clarify any recapitalisation requirements of the European banking sector.

In the most recent EU capital exercise as at 30 September 2011, Jyske Bank’s Core Tier 1 capital ratio came to 12.3%.

The EBA has set a minimum of 9% for the Core Tier 1 capital ratio, and hence Jyske Bank clearly exceeds the minimum requirement stipulated by the EBA.

At this point in time Jyske Bank has no further comments.
