Saul Schottenstein Foundation B Makes a Grant to The Jewish Community Center of Manhattan

CINCINNATI, Dec. 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Saul Schottenstein Foundation B has made a grant to The Jewish Community Center of Manhattan (the "JCC Manhattan"), in support of the 2012 ReelAbilities: the NY Disabilities Film Festival and the 2012 traveling program ("ReelAbilities"). The contribution shall be used to assist JCC Manhattan in making the 2012 ReelAbilities Film Festival in New York City, the 2012 ReelAbilities Traveling Program, and the ReelAbilities Traveling Program web site available to communities throughout the world.

The ReelAbilities Film Festival promotes awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with differing abilities. The festival is designed to help raise consciousness and educate people to transform their ideas about what it means to have a disability, to promote awareness, in order to foster a more caring, sensitive and inclusive community. Jeffrey P. Harris, Saul Schottenstein's nephew and a trustee of the foundation, believes the contribution furthers the foundation's mission to partner with organizations that foster human acceptance, organic oneness of life, and helping people experience their common humanity.

The Saul Schottenstein Foundation B was established in 2009 by the Estate of Saul S. Schottenstein. Visit the Saul Schottenstein Foundation B Web site at www.saulschottensteinfoundationb.org.
