CHICAGO, Jan. 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Echo Global Logistics, Inc. (Nasdaq:ECHO), a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation and supply chain management services, announced today the appointment of Suzanne Karpick to the position of Vice President of Investor Relations.
In Ms. Karpick's new role, she will be responsible for establishing all aspects of the investor outreach program for Echo, while engaging the investment community with information about the firm's financial accomplishments and growth initiatives.

Ms. Karpick previously held the post of Vice President, Client Relations and New Business at Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co., in Chicago, IL, where she managed the client relations platform of the $8.2 billion firm. Prior to Duff & Phelps, Ms. Karpick was Vice President, Investor Relations for Los Angeles-based Macerich, a $7.2 billion real estate investment trust. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS degree in Finance from Boston College.
