PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - Feb 9, 2012) - Sage North America today announced that University of the Sciences (USciences), a private healthcare and science university in Philadelphia that is distinguished as North America's first pharmacy school, is using Sage Millennium to give it a dynamic approach to constituent relationship management (CRM). Sage Millennium provides USciences with more intimate connections with constituents through the use of relationship trees and a more comprehensive donor database, and real-time data for board of trustee meetings.
Sage Millennium is highly customizable, web-based CRM software for larger nonprofit organizations with diverse and complex fundraising programs. The software offers USciences capabilities -- including event management, campaign management, society membership management, online giving, planned giving reporting and analysis, document management, and advanced in-depth reporting and analysis -- not available in its previous fundraising management software.
"Sage Millennium's Visual Analyzer module allows us to pull all the data our board of trustees needs to see in real-time through the live system," said Necie Steward, director of advancement services for USciences. "Our board members love that module. Previously, we had to print reports prior to board meetings, and by the time the meeting started, the information in the reports was already outdated."
"Our gift officers have seen an improvement in the quantity of data entered from a contact standpoint," said Steward. "All our Sage Millennium users benefit from the relationship trees, because they can see how everything links together. Our old software couldn't give us access to that level of information. Our gift officers also appreciate Sage Millennium's user-friendly interface."
About three years ago, USciences learned they would have to either convert platforms with their current product or switch vendors. They worked with a consultant during the spring of 2009 as they investigated alternative fundraising technology platforms.
"After forming a comprehensive committee of people from numerous areas within the University -- from the Registrar and Development offices, to the IT and Finance departments -- we received information and demonstrations from vendors, and then rated each product on a 1-to-5 scale," explained Steward. "Sage Millennium was the winner based on functionality and cost."
USciences has been particularly pleased with the support they receive from Sage. Steward said, "We've had no problems at all, from the implementation phase to now. We and our Sage team were equally committed to staying on schedule with the implementation. We had a programmer working on our data who was local to the Philadelphia area, so we got to meet with him regularly. In the end, we went live right on schedule, in August 2010. And, we continue to have a personal relationship with our two main contacts at Sage."
Sage Millennium helps nonprofit organizations analyze and manage high-end prospecting, relationship tracking, sophisticated campaigns, major gifts, and donor development. It also provides detailed and custom reporting capabilities, and integrates with Sage Exchange from Sage Payment Solutions to provide nonprofits with a payment processing application certified as compliant with the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS). Sage Millennium can be set up as an Internet or intranet application. For more information, visit www.sagefundraising.com/Products/Sage-Millennium.
