LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Feb 15, 2012) - Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), the world's leading technical consulting and independent certification laboratory, will welcome American Gaming Association President and CEO Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. as the keynote speaker to open GLI University's 11th North American Roundtable.
Fahrenkopf will address the crowd of more than 300 regulators from across North America at 9 a.m. on March 7, day one of the two-day Roundtable.
"We are absolutely thrilled that Mr. Fahrenkopf will be delivering a keynote address at our annual Roundtable. The industry is at an extremely exciting time in its evolution, and having the AGA's perspective will set the stage perfectly for the very informative panel discussions and modules that follow," said GLI President and CEO James Maida.
GLI's Roundtable takes place March 7-8 at Treasure Island Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. CIOs, CTOs, gaming commission chairs and members, tribal regulators, security directors and slot operations directors are encouraged to attend.
The event features a land-based gaming track discussing today's most urgent and relevant topics, including best-practices in regulation, new technologies and their potential impact, business efficiencies and cost-reduction measures, multi-jurisdictional collaboration and gray market games. An iGaming track features discussions about geo-location and age verification, multi-jurisdictional approaches to iGaming, the "Cloud," and best-practices in regulation.
GLI offers the event to regulators free of charge. Conference registration is available now at www.gaminglabs.com; room reservations are available at www.treasureisland.com.
The event is produced by the company's GLI University, an exclusive program that offers continuing education and training to regulators around the world.
