United Country Lippard Auctioneers, Inc., to Conduct Absolute Auction of 507 Acres of Crop and Grassland, 528 Acres of Producing Minerals


ENID, Okla., March 7, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- United Country Lippard Auctioneers, Inc., (www.lippardauctions.com) announces the absolute public auction of 507 acres of crop and grassland, plus 528 acres of producing minerals, on Friday, March 23, 2012, at 10am local time, according to Troy Lippard, auctioneer.

"This is an absolute auction," explained Lippard. "That means these tracts will sell to the highest bidder, regardless of price. We are selling on behalf of the Garvin McComas Trust, which includes one of the nicest bottom land farms in the area."

Up for bid are 507 acres of crop and grassland, offered in four tracts ranging from 15 to 172 acres. The first tract consists of 160 acres with approximately 153.8 acres of cropland, including 109.1 acre wheat base and a 39 bushel per acre yield, and 35 acre cotton base with a yield of 517. There is a 40ft. by 60ft. barn on the property, two water wells (no pumps) and perimeter fencing.

The second tract consists of 172 acres in Grady County, with approximately 118.2 acres of cropland – 74.0 acre wheat base and a 39 bushel-per-acre yield, 30.0 cotton base with a yield of 549, an oat base of 6.1 with a yield of 57, 7.7 acre grain sorghum base with 42 yield. The current crop on this tract is alfalfa hay in its third year of production. Buggy Creek runs through this property, providing excellent cattle water. The property has blacktop frontage, with a 40ft. by 80ft. Round top, 30ft. by 30ft. pole barn, and water well (pump does not sell).

The third tract comprises 160 acres in Caddo County with approximately 96.3 acres in cropland, including 8.1 acre oat base with a 57 yield. This farm is mostly native crass with Blackjack timber, scattered cedar trees and rolling terrain. There is a water well (pump does not sell) and perimeter fencing.

The final surface rights tract consists of 15 acres in Canadian County with electric power, city water, septic sewer, small pond, grass, mature trees and perimeter fencing. This property would be an excellent building site for a rural estate or horse property.
