CLEAR Speeds 500,000 Travelers Through Airport Security

Since November 2010, Travelers Have Used the Denver and Orlando CLEARlanes More Than Half a Million Times

NEW YORK, March 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Travelers through Orlando International Airport and Denver International Airport have used CLEAR, the nation's pre-eminent biometric secure ID program, more than half a million times. The 500,000th member verification milestone was reached yesterday, on March 12.

CLEAR speeds its members through airport security, using cutting edge biometric technology to expedite their travel and take them out of the usual long lines.

In addition to lanes at Denver and Orlando, CLEAR expects to launch services at San Francisco International Airport in the second quarter.

"I'd like to say 'thanks a million' to our members who have used the CLEARlanes half a million times," said CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker. "With San Francisco and other airports coming online this year, we look forward to millions and millions more."

CLEAR membership costs $179 for one year with unlimited use. Members can add their spouse or significant other to their account with the Family Plan for an additional $50. All children under 18 can use the CLEARlane free of charge, and with no enrollment necessary, when accompanied by an adult member.
