FinancialForce.com Selected as SIIA CODiE Awards Finalist for Second Consecutive Year

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 22, 2012) - FinancialForce.com, the cloud applications company, today announced that it has achieved finalist status for the second year running in the Software and Information Industry Association's (SIIA) annual CODiE™ Awards.

The SIIA CODiE Awards recognize excellence in business software. FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) is among five finalists selected in the Best Project Management Solution category. This award recognizes the best business application that automates the management of project-based business activities. FinancialForce PSA underwent a thorough review by seasoned industry experts via live demonstration, trial product access, and analysis of product documentation.

Finalists will be reviewed further by SIIA members, who will vote on the winners for each category. The business software category winners will be announced on Thursday, May 10^th at the SIIA All About the Cloud conference, where Jeremy Roche, president and CEO of FinancialForce.com, will participate in a session titled "The Power of the Customer."

The selection coincides with new research on the professional services industry that highlights the financial benefits of PSA. A PS Maturity Benchmark Report published this month by SPI Research benchmarked more than 200 services firms and found that the top 10 percent performers all utilize a dedicated PSA application and report greater levels of integration between CRM and PSA. As a result they report 230 additional billable hours per employee per year, which can amount to over $50,000 annually of additional revenue per consultant. They also report overall profitability levels 84 percent higher. Salesforce CRM is the most used CRM system among services organizations (used by 50 percent of firms benchmarked).
