Tele2 wins mobile license in 2.6 GHz auction in Lithuania


Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B),
announced today that Tele2 has been awarded a mobile license in Lithuania of 2 x
20 MHz in the 2.6 GHz frequency band.

This frequency is specifically suited for next generation mobile broadband (LTE)
and  Tele2 Lithuania considers the license  an important step to further develop
its  mobile operations.  The frequency  will become  available as  from 2012 and
Tele2 Lithuania will have rights to use it for the next 15 years.

The  awarded license makes it possible  for Tele2 Lithuania to continue offering
price  leading  and  innovative  products  both  for  residential  and  business
customers.
