Limited (HKSE:1137) (Nasdaq:CTEL) aggressively launched a series of unprecedented campus career talks and on-site interviews at 11 Tertiary Institutions in February and March 2012 in order to prepare for the Domestic Free TV Service License and nurture our pipeline of professional Talents in the TV Industry. Our Chairman, Mr. Ricky Wong, chaired the career talks and also the on-site castings for the positions of Artiste, Anchor, Master of Ceremonies, Creative Trainee and Production Trainee. Ricky cherry-picked the best candidates and offered career opportunity that includes 4-6 months on-the-job training by seasoned Creative Directors, Executive Producers and professional trainers.
The Group has received over 4,000 online applications from the general public and interviewed over 500 candidates at Tertiary Institutions. Around 2,000 students packed our career talks and over 600 students visited our career booths. Through this grass roots development, we aim to elevate the quality Hong Kong produced dramas to unseen standards over time, delivering a higher quality alternative for Hong Kong's TV audience.
