SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 17, 2012) - RedSeal Networks today announced the addition of several key executives to its management team including Allan Thompson, Vincent McCord, Lisa Kost, and Rick Wescott. Thompson, formerly of Dataguise and McAfee, will serve as RedSeal Networks' executive vice president of business development and services. With extensive experience in the financial management of IT security and enterprise technologies, McCord will take the reigns as RedSeal Networks' chief financial officer. Formerly of HP Enterprise Security and ArcSight, Kost and Westcott will serve as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of worldwide sales, respectively.
In their new roles, all four executives will focus on driving RedSeal Networks' growth and expansion as more enterprise customers face the challenges posed by today's complex hybrid networks and the dissolution of the enterprise security perimeter. With enterprises under constant attack and regulatory pressure, many organizations are turning to RedSeal Networks to improve their cyber-security and compliance management effectiveness with continuous monitoring and automation.

As executive vice president of business development and services for RedSeal Networks, Allan Thompson is responsible for building strategic partnerships to expand RedSeal's global sales channels and establishing a worldwide network of RedSeal service providers. Prior to joining RedSeal, Allan served as executive vice president, operations, for Dataguise, Inc. Before Dataguise, Allan held a number of executive leadership roles at companies including at Reconnex, Tenebril, Senforce Technologies, IntruVert Networks, and Trend Micro.
Vincent McCord brings more than thirty years of experience in financial management of IT security, semiconductor, computer storage, and systems providers to his position as chief financial officer of RedSeal Networks. Prior to joining RedSeal, he served as CFO of Zenverge, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company, and prior to that was a partner in FLG Partners LLC, acting as CFO to several high-technology client companies on a consulting basis. Vincent has also served as CFO of several startup companies, including IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee), and SDL, Inc., a public telecommunications component company. Vincent received his MBA from the Harvard Business School, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Tech.
Lisa Kost, RedSeal's new chief marketing officer, has spent over eighteen years marketing enterprise infrastructure products. She was an integral part of the marketing team that helped lead ArcSight to its $1.5 billion acquisition by HP. Most recently, Lisa served as vice president of HP Enterprise Security where she was responsible for marketing products from ArcSight, Fortify, and Tipping Point. Earlier in her career, she served in various marketing and operations roles at high-growth software companies including SeeBeyond Technology, PostX, Clarify, and Compaq.
In his new position as executive vice president of worldwide sales, Rick Wescott brings over twenty years of experience and knowledge of the security challenges facing the IT and software markets to RedSeal Networks. Previously, Wescott served as the vice president and general manager, public sector at ArcSight. Earlier in his career, Rick was a member of VeriSign Corp.'s management team and held various management positions at a number of technology leaders including Entrust, Sybase and IBM.
