In this capacity, Mr. Sheffer will be responsible for providing support and direction over credit administration and ensuring the overall quality of the Bank's lending portfolio.
Mr. Sheffer joins the bank with a 34-year career in various credit management capacities in regional and national banks and credit corporations throughout northern California. This scope of services included residential, ag, commercial and construction lending. He was previously with Sutter Community Bank in Yuba City, CA, and a principal in Sheffer/Associates, covering origination, risk management assessment, and loan placement for business loans, SBA related transactions, commercial loans, lines of credit and land development projects.
