Thousands of Alberta youth count down for Canada's largest youth conference - YC Alberta - set to take place in Edmonton May 25 -27. More than awesome music and activities, the weekend's theme "Surrender" will change the lives of thousands of students across the province. Students will be challenged to live for the purposes of God. The event will take place in Edmonton at Rexall Place and the Expo Centre.

Since its inception in 1994, the YC phenomenon has swept across the nation for 15 years, and has grown from 500 students in a small gymnasium, to a sell-out crowd of over 16,000 delegates in Alberta. More than 250,000 students have been impacted by this event that is spreading across the globe.

YC Alberta 2012 will feature Fresh IE (CA) - the first Canadian rapper ever to be nominated for a Grammy, Duffy Robbins (US), Danielle Strickland (CA) and Grammy Award winning Switchfoot (US).
