GREAT NECK, NY--(Marketwire - May 3, 2012) - Long Island dentistry practice Great Neck and Mid-Island Dental Associates (GNMIDA) has announced it will be participating in the 28th Annual Scientific Session meeting for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The conference, titled "Learn Outside the Lines," will be held May 2-5, 2012 in Washington, DC at the Gaylord National. GNMIDA says its team of dentists is anxiously anticipating the program as a chance to acquire new techniques and materials that will ultimately improve their ability to provide the highest quality patient care in cosmetic and general procedures from teeth whitening to porcelain veneers.
With an expected attendance of over 1,700 dental professionals, the AACD conference is targeted towards providing participants with an interdisciplinary, innovative perspective on cosmetic dentistry. Featuring workshops, general sessions, social events and fundraisers, dentists with the GNMIDA say they are looking forward to a unique opportunity for professional growth and comprehensive education. Topics of course workshops and presentations delivered at the annual meeting will cover cosmetic procedures ranging from dental implants and smile design to Invisalign® and oral hygiene.
Having recently also participated in a course for Biomet 3i™ dental implants, the team of implant, general, and cosmetic dentists in Long Island at GNMIDA say they have sought to place an increasing focus on the importance of continued education. Dr. Arnie Tyrangel, a founding member of GNMIDA, says staying up-to-date with cutting edge technology and education is essential for providing patients with effective procedures and for ensuring they receive the best treatment: "The Annual AACD meeting is always an exciting time for our practice. Not only do we get to interact with the leading minds in the cosmetic dentistry industry, but we also have the chance to focus exclusively on current innovations, as well as what the future holds for our field, which is extremely important to continued patient satisfaction and safety."
In anticipation of the AACD event, the dentists at GNMIDA say they hope to continue encouraging patients to pursue treatment from a practice that regularly participates in continued education. Through partnership with a dedicated and motivated cosmetic dentist, the dentists at the practice say patients can enjoy a brighter, more confident smile. The GNMIDA dentists also say they are excited to brush up on their skills at the conference in an effort to consistently strive for the highest quality outcomes and patient safety.
