Simon Roach Joins KEMP Technologies as Chief Technology Officer

YAPHANK, NY--(Marketwire - Jun 12, 2012) - KEMP Technologies today announced that Simon Roach has been named chief technology officer. As CTO, Mr. Roach will spearhead research and product development across the KEMP LoadMaster family of products. Mr. Roach will also lead strategic initiatives addressing KEMP's next-generation product offerings and current load balancing solutions.

Mr. Roach brings to KEMP more than 25 years of software productization experience with more than 15 years in technical/executive positions. After graduating in 1985 with a 1^st Class Honors Degree in Physics and Computing, Mr. Roach held R&D positions at Siemens AG, Siemens-Nixdorf and AT&T with a focus on operating system kernels and Internet protocols. As co-founder, joint-CEO and CTO of GMRS Software GmbH, he was responsible for the creation of a revolutionary new generation of flexible call processing technology and the successful growth of the business, leading to its acquisition by Brain Force AG in 2000.

During a five-year tenure as Managing Director and Design Authority of Brain Force's Communication Networks Division, he was responsible for the creation of a portfolio of software products (including what is now the KEMP LoadMaster). As a partner in Roach & Stolz Software GmbH since 2005, Mr. Roach has been heavily engaged in developing standardized best practice approaches to conducting software technology and IT due diligence assessments for the investor community in Europe and the USA.
