Ambassadors Group, Inc. Appoints James Kalustian Chairman of Board


SPOKANE, Wash., June 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ambassadors Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:EPAX), a leading provider of educational travel experiences and online education research materials, today announced that the Company's Board of Directors has elected long-standing board member James Kalustian Chairman of the Board. Mr. Kalustian replaces former Chairman John Ueberroth who did not stand for reelection at the Company's 2012 Annual Meeting.

Mr. Kalustian, 51, has served as an independent director of the Company since May 2006. His career spans 15 years in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial, retail and consumer products industries where he held a number of senior executive posts at various public companies including Fair Isaac Corporation, Braun Consulting, Inc., Raytheon Company and W.R. Grace & Company. Mr. Kalustian is co-founder of Vertex Partners, a customer-focused strategic consulting firm. He is also co-founder and senior vice president of HRInet, Inc., a healthcare technology and services company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kalustian served in various capacities at Corporate Decisions, Inc. (a division of Mercer Management Consulting) and Canada Dry.
