MANCHESTER, Conn., June 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lydall, Inc. (NYSE:LDL) today announced that David H. Williams, 47, has been appointed President of its Performance Materials business effective July 16, 2012.
Before joining Lydall, Mr. Williams enjoyed a 20-year tenure with Saint-Gobain, a building materials company and leading producer of high performance materials and glass containers. During his time with Saint-Gobain, Mr. Williams was the General Manager – Foams for Saint-Gobain's Performance Plastics Group where he managed a global specialty foams business serving automotive, industrial and medical markets with operations in North America, Europe, South America and Asia. Most recently, Mr. Williams served as Saint-Gobain's General Manager – Films, a global specialty films and tapes business serving the aerospace, electronics, energy, construction, life sciences and industrial markets.
