On July 5, 2012, at 09:56 a.m., IIROC surveillance systems triggered a single stock circuit breaker in shares of Extendicare Inc. (TSX Symbol EXE). The last sale price at the time of the halt was $7.37. The single stock circuit breaker was triggered in error. IIROC is taking steps to ensure this does not happen again. Trading resumed at 10:01 a.m. at a price of $7.36.
