QuinStreet Sponsors Reno Galena Fest and the Bloody Rose Bike Race

RENO, Nevada, July 9, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- QuinStreet, Inc. (Nasdaq:QNST), the leader in vertical marketing and media online, is sponsoring the fourth annual Reno Galena Fest fundraising event featuring the challenging "Bloody Rose" mountain bike race, the "Wicked Thorn" 10K run and a "Kids Expo."

Galena Fest, Inc. is a non-profit organization that raises funds to build and enhance Sierra Nevada outdoor recreation resources and programs. QuinStreet is contributing a $1,000 sponsorship to the festival.

QuinStreet also developed the RenoGalenaFest.com website, and employees have volunteered at the event since its inauguration in 2009. "Galena Fest has gained momentum over time," said David Gentry, president, Reno Galena Fest. "Our community recognizes the importance of keeping Galena Creek Regional Park open and accessible. The funds we've raised enable us to make lots of headway toward our goal of completing trails between the park and the Mt. Rose summit."

"Sponsors are critical to our success," explains Richard Keillor, Galena Fest's founder. "About 70 percent of our funds come from sponsors and 30 percent come from attendees and participants. We are grateful to QuinStreet and our other sponsors for their tremendous support." In addition to trail improvements, Galena Fest funds a mountain bike club at Galena High School.

"It is exciting to see how Galena Fest has grown," said Katrina Boydon, vice president in QuinStreet's Reno office.  "Our employees are happy to help this organization make a difference in our community."
