Fossil, Inc. Adds to Senior Leadership Team


RICHARDSON, Texas, July 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fossil, Inc. (Nasdaq:FOSL) (the "Company") announced today additions to and a promotion within its senior leadership team. Tom Kennedy has been promoted to Executive Vice President effective June 26, 2012; Edward J. Robben has joined the Company as Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer; and Joanne Calabrese has joined the Company as Senior Vice President - Retail Merchandising.   

Mr. Kennedy has been with Fossil since 2009 in a Senior Vice President role within the Company's retail division. Prior to joining Fossil, he was president of Pacific Sunwear and has an extensive background in global product development and retailing for brands including Nike and Gap. In his new role, Mr. Kennedy will be responsible for the FOSSIL brand, including all product development and creative aspects.  Mr. Kennedy will report to Mark D. Quick, Vice Chairman.

Prior to joining Fossil, Mr. Robben served as Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer and Executive Board Member for J.C. Penney Company.  Mr. Robben's background includes significant experience in systems and technology, having built teams across both the fashion and consumer space. Mr. Robben will report directly to Fossil's CEO, Kosta Kartsotis.

Joanne Calabrese joins Fossil from JCR Consulting, a multi-channel retail consulting firm based in San Francisco.  She has held key retail leadership roles with The Body Shop, Gap, Inc., and the DFS Group. Ms. Calabrese will be responsible for the Company's direct merchandising and outlet concept strategy and will report to Jennifer Pritchard, President of Retail.
