Visionary Integration Professionals CEO Supports Junior Achievement of Sacramento, Hosts Fundraiser

FOLSOM, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 21, 2012) - Jonna Ward, CEO and Founder of Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), is teaming with Junior Achievement of Sacramento (JA) to host the annual Cheers for Children fundraiser on Sept. 7 at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will contribute to JA's financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship programs that are delivered by corporate and community volunteers for students in grades K-12.

"We're working to equip the most vulnerable young people in our community with the skills, confidence, and inspiration they need to succeed," said Susan Vicchio, President of Junior Achievement of Sacramento, Inc. "Fundraisers like Cheers for Children allow us to help children pursue higher education, enter the workforce, and lead more successful lives."

More than 150 local community leaders are expected to attend this year's Margaritaville-themed event at Ward's Granite Bay home. As the theme suggests, guests will be treated to margaritas, in addition to gourmet street fare, fine wines, and both silent and live auctions featuring David Sobon Auctions.

Ward and VIP staff have been dedicated to supporting Sacramento JA for many years. In addition to participating in other annual fundraising events, several employees also lead classroom instruction. This will be the fifth year that Ward has hosted the Cheers for Children fundraiser at her home, including last year, which netted nearly $35,000.

"The mission of Junior Achievement is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy," said Ward. "My husband and I choose to support JA knowing its mission is the same as our personal mission in raising our two children. We know JA programs equip young people with the skills and confidence to positively contribute to the future economic health of our region."
