Panzura to Present Cloud Tutorial Session at Flash Memory Summit

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 22, 2012) - Panzura, a leading provider of global cloud storage solutions, today announced that Ranajit Nevatia, vice president of Marketing, will be a session speaker at the annual Flash Memory Summit at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Nevatia's presentation will showcase the deployment of Panzura's award-winning Global Cloud Storage System by customer Relativity Media, a next-generation, full-scale film and television production and distribution studio based in Beverly Hills, California.

The session, titled "Cloud-Integrated Storage and the New Hollywood," will highlight how Panzura enables customers in the media and entertainment space to seamlessly leverage cloud storage for backup and archiving, in addition to providing studios with a real-time global file system and collaboration platform that allows efficient follow-the-sun development for globally-distributed production teams. 

The inaugural Enterprise Applications conference track takes place during the Flash Memory Summit on August 22 - 23, 2012 and is divided into three tutorial sessions: "Handling Big Data," "Cloud Storage" and "Database/Data Management Acceleration." Consisting of case study presentations that feature real end-user results, the sessions illustrate how flash memory enables new approaches to storage system architectures for Big Data, the cloud and database applications. Panzura will present during the second tutorial "Cloud Storage" session scheduled from 3:10 - 5:30 pm today, which will also feature additional presentations by representatives from Nutanix, Isilon Systems, MorphLabs, HP, EMC and Graniterock.
