Mr. Todd D'Braunstein, President of the California State Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), addressed the graduates as the keynote speaker.
In his presentation, Mr. D'Braunstein encouraged the graduates to outshine their competition as the demand for highly qualified candidates will continue to grow alongside the amount of jobs for nurses and healthcare professionals.

The BVNPT overseas the licensure of over 120,000 licensed vocational nurses and psychiatric technicians in California. The BVNPT establishes educational standards for the accreditation of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians schools in California and enforces regulations upon the schools. The Diploma in Vocational Nursing program at Stanbridge College is accredited by the BVNPT.
