GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Sept. 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Kentwood Cat Clinic and Cat Clinic North announced that the cat veterinary hospitals have opened a new luxury cat boarding facility called the Cottages at Cat Clinic North. This unique space is the first of its kind in Western Michigan. Every cat or cat family will receive an individual boarding space decorated like a hotel suite with all the comforts of home. The boarding suites include a dedicated webcam so that pet owners can check in on their cats. While cats are being boarded, pet owners may also opt for their cats to receive veterinary services, including grooming, wellness exams and vaccinations from the Cat Clinic North veterinary team.
Cat veterinarian Dr. Tammy Sadek, founder of Kentwood Cat Clinic and Cat Clinic North, has expanded the feline care services to include luxury Grand Rapids cat boarding. Dr. Sadek recently launched The Cottages at Cat Clinic North, which feature upscale accommodations including private themed rooms and dedicated webcams.

The Cottages feature themed rooms with plenty of space for one cat or several members of the same cat family to play and nap. Unlike traditional boarding facilities, cats are free to roam their spacious room. The Cottages is feline-only, so cats will not be affected in any way by the presence of dogs or other animals.
Themed rooms are designed to meet a cat's needs for exploration, privacy, security and comfort. Staff members provide daily playtime to keep cats engaged and active during their stay. Games are tailored to each cat's personality and may include laser lights, interactive toys, lap time and cuddles.
While cats are being boarded, pet owners may also opt for them to receive veterinary wellness care or grooming services. These services include cat care wellness exams, cat and kitten dentistry, and vaccination boosters.
Pet owners that reside within 15 miles of The Cottages can also opt for pick-up and delivery services. There is a $25 charge per one-way trip.
