This news means that StraighterLine students who successfully complete StraighterLine's online college courses and want to pursue degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields can transfer to Harrisburg University of Science and Technology with a streamlined credit transfer process.
As part of the partnership StraighterLine is working with Harrisburg University of Science and Technology to provide a pathway into a degree program for students who are admitted conditionally to the University. The program includes a special discount on StraighterLine programs to help students complete the necessary courses to gain full admission. StraighterLine offers a number of college prep classes that will be included in the special package including Student Success (a credit credit-bearing course), and two developmental courses, Introductory Algebra, Developmental Writing. These courses are designed to help students master some of the basic skills they will need to be successful in college. Students who successful complete college level courses prior to attending college are more likely to complete their degree.
