Complete Discovery Source Named Number One E-Discovery Provider by NYLJ Survey

Top e-Discovery Position Marks Continued Leadership Role

New York, NY, Sept. 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Complete Discovery Source (CDS Legal), a leading e-discovery company, has been named the number one end-to-end e-discovery solution by the New York Law Journal 2012 Reader Rankings Survey. More than 6,800 readers across the nation, including those from major markets outside of the New York area, cast votes throughout August.

CDS has been named a top-three provider in the past, but this is the first time the company has achieved the first place position. "This means a lot to our team because it comes directly from the people that we serve," said Garrett Bendel, Chief Operating Officer, "We never forget that at the end of our partnerships are the best clients in the world."

The survey ranking is one of several notable benchmarks for CDS this year. CDS recently received the top service designation, Orange-Level, for the Relativity review platform.  In June, the company passed the SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type II audit which replaces their existing SAS 70 credentials - validating their advanced security and process standards. Most recently, at the ILTA conference in Washington, DC, Complete Discovery Source unveiled Nytrix, their well-received, proprietary cloud-based review platform. See http://www.cdslegal.com/nytrix.

About the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings

The New York Law Journal Reader Rankings are not a scientific survey or an editorial analysis. The voting was conducted via online ballot, compiled by the New York Law Journal. Readers were notified of the ballot through direct emails and online advertisements linking to the ballot across ALM's network of websites. The ballot consisted of 63 categories encompassing the areas of Technology, Research, Accounting, Insurance, Financial Services, Litigation Support, Real Estate, Education Recruiting and Staffing.

In total, over 365 firms were listed on the official online ballot and voters were also given the option of writing in any firms not listed; approximately 300 firms received votes via the write-in option. This year, over 6,800 readers cast votes for their favorite vendors, surpassing last year's total by over 50%. Only legitimate end users (attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants etc.) were allowed to vote. Any non-attorney or non-legal-professional vote (or anyone who could not be validated as a legitimate end user) was disqualified.
