ATLANTA, Sept. 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Broc Rosser has been named president for CredAbility in Florida, the national nonprofit financial counseling organization announced today. In this newly-created role, Rosser will represent the agency statewide and be responsible for philanthropic and business relationships, high-level community partnerships and government and media relations. He will be based in the agency's Orlando office.
Rosser will also serve as the senior community development officer for Florida, overseeing community development officers in Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach. "Floridians who need financial counseling seek our help more than residents from almost any other state in the country, so it's important for us to have a strong leader to oversee our outreach across the state," said Michele Pearce, senior vice president of development and community outreach for CredAbility. "Broc's high level of integrity, commitment to our mission and strong working relationships with community organizations throughout Florida are a perfect fit for this role and we're pleased that he's chosen to join our organization."
Rosser has a wide range of management experience in nonprofit and government organizations. Most recently, he served as director in the Office of the President at the Heart of Florida United Way where he was responsible for public policy and government relations, implemented statewide advocacy campaigns and developed strategies for fundraising campaigns and other projects.
