Frank Kent Motor Co. Announces Grand Opening of the Biggest Cadillac Facility in the Southwest at 86,000 Square-Feet

Luxury Dealership Commemorates 60 Years With the Cadillac Brand

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As the old story goes, the late Frank Kent was on vacation overseas in 1953 when he received a telegraph about an opportunity to become the new Cadillac distributor for the West Texas region, as well as the only Cadillac franchise in Fort Worth.

Without hesitation, Frank Kent dropped everything and headed back to the States to expand Frank Kent Motor Company.

Now nearly 60 years later, his great-grandchildren and current owners of Frank Kent Motor Company, Will Churchill and Corrie Watson, echo his dedication and are making their own mark on the family's legacy by opening the doors to their new Cadillac dealership on October 19, 2012.

Located next to Frank Kent Honda, the new 86,000 square-foot space at 3500 W. Loop 820 South is set to be the largest Cadillac facility in the Southwest and will bring 20 new jobs to Fort Worth.

Like Frank Kent Honda, the Cadillac dealership is LEED certified and will also boast the most electric charging stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Anticipating electric vehicles from Cadillac and Honda in the next year, Frank Kent is installing five dual-post electric charging stations from ChargePoint and GE.

"The new dealership showcases our dedication to service and innovation, attention to detail, and even provides a few unexpected surprises," said Churchill. "Customers have more options than ever, and it's our responsibility to offer them an unmatched buyer experience through exceptional customer service, a comfortable and polished space, and amenities never before seen at a luxury dealership."

Every detail of Frank Kent Cadillac, built by Byrne Construction and furnished by BKM, is representative of the style and elegance that are synonymous with the Cadillac brand. The dealership has been designed with a modern, open approach that features warm, neutral paint hues and rich, earth-toned Pantheon tile flooring, paired with colorful Mosaico glass accents.

The new location will also feature original Cadillac-inspired art by Mexican artist, Juan Danes, a dog park, a business center, as well as a children's play area that was designed through the eyes of the family's fifth generation car enthusiast, 2-year-old Cash. The space will also include five new TV lounges, where customers can enjoy complimentary homemade hummus and access to Twin Creeks Cafe.

An on-site customization shop, Frank Kent Custom Koncepts, will also be available to offer clients a myriad of upgrades and personalization options.

The new dealership will also feature the first of its kind, Cadillac Wines — a 1,600 bottle boutique wine shop, managed by local wine expert Brad Kimura. Clients will be able to celebrate their dream car with a small sample of wine** from one of the shop's Napa Technology tasting stations. Wine will also be for sale by the bottle or case for those wanting to continue the celebration at home.

As part of the relocation, Frank Kent Fisker will now be moving to the Honda store at 9401 Camp Bowie West. The former Cadillac facility at 3800 Southwest Blvd. is now for sale, although it will continue to be the home of Frank Kent's body shop until its new facilities are complete in the fall of 2013.

"We are so thankful for the incredible support that our community, valued customers, vendors and the Cadillac brand have given our family over the years," said Watson. "We are honored to be part of such an amazing city and look forward to many more years of serving Fort Worth at our new location."
