OSHKOSH, WI--(Marketwire - Nov 8, 2012) - Tierney Brothers, Inc., a privately owned interactive technology company, today announced the opening of a new Technology & Training Center located at Carl Traeger Elementary in Oshkosh, WI. The center will be utilized for demonstrations and training on cutting edge technology designed to inspire collaboration and improve performance. The center, which is located inside of an existing classroom within the school, will be used both during and outside of normal school hours.
The technology itself includes some of the newest products from manufacturers including SMART (interactive products) and will be available for classroom use when not being utilized for Tierney Brothers Training. As an official SMART Certified Training Center Tierney Brothers will offer several training courses focused on using SMART Board Interactive Whiteboards and other SMART products starting next month.
"This is a great opportunity for our district," said Dr. David Gundlach, Deputy Superintendent at Oshkosh Area School District. "Not only will we be able to conduct classes utilizing the technology but we can also provide top level professional development for our staff."
