SEPTEMBER 2012 QUARTER-END RESULTS
Solon, OH November 9, 2012 - Advanced Lighting Technologies, Inc. ("ADLT") announced today that it will release its financial results for the three and six months ended September 30, 2012 on November 9, 2012. ADLT will hold its earnings conference call for the three and six months ended September 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM (ET) on November 14, 2012.

During the conference call, representatives of ADLT may discuss and answer one or more questions concerning ADLT's business and financial matters. The responses to these questions, as well as other matters discussed during the call, may contain information that has not been previously disclosed.
ADLT will post its quarterly report for the three and six months ended September 30, 2012 on the password protected investor relations portion of ADLT's website on November 9, 2012. The quarterly report is being furnished pursuant to the Indenture governing the 10.50% Senior Notes due 2019 issued by ADLT.
