What: | With winter arriving, the 15th Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is expecting a larger turnout- anywhere from 600 to 1,000 people. In total, more than 10,000 individuals have attended 14 previous PHC events in Calgary. | |
https://involve.calgaryhomeless.com/housewarming2012At PHC, people at risk of or experiencing homelessness can access support from about 45 agencies and services. Available services include medical aid; legal advice and help getting identification; mental health and addictions counselling; information on income support; employment counselling; housing information; and more. Those attending can also receive free haircuts, comfort kits, clothing and a nutritious, hot lunch. | ||
