The annual USCIB award gala draws hundreds of business leaders as well as dignitaries from government and diplomatic circles.

The International Leadership Award recognizes extraordinary efforts to expand world trade and investment. Normally presented to a top corporate leader, the award this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of BIAC, the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD. USCIB wishes to recognize BIAC's efforts over five decades to improve the global competitive framework for American business through strong multilateral engagement and cooperation in support of open markets.

BIAC Chairman Charles Heeter and Secretary General Tadahiro Asami will accept the award on behalf of the organization's worldwide membership. Deloitte CEO Barry Salzberg will provide testimonial remarks, and Katty Kay of BBC World New America will deliver keynote remarks on business and leadership at a time of global change.
