Vattenfall extends partnership with ReadSoft through an order worth 575,000 EUR

ReadSoft Sweden has signed an order worth 575,000 EUR with the Swedish energy
giant Vattenfall AB. Through this deal Vattenfall expands its cooperation with
ReadSoft and takes the next step to automate its invoice processing using
ReadSoft's SAP®-certified solution. The agreement was signed in the fourth
quarter of 2012.
Vattenfall replaces a regional organization with a vertical where the various
entities within the Group will work across borders. In connection with the
change, a review of the administrative processes and systems has taken place.
Vattenfall, which previously had different systems in different countries to
manage invoices electronically, will come to manage all invoices in ReadSoft’s
automatic invoice processing solution that is fully integrated within SAP.
Through these organizational changes and the consolidation of the various
systems, the process will be harmonized and the company achieves a higher degree
of automation with reduced costs as a result.
“I’m proud that ReadSoft can offer the solution that best satisfies our client’s
need for harmonization. We have a strong local presence in the markets where
Vattenfall is active and we are specialists in automatic invoice processing
since 15 years. But it is not only our knowledge and our solution’s qualities
that were decisive factors in the choice, but also the possibility for
Vattenfall to exchange experiences with other ReadSoft clients,” says Per
Åkerberg, President and CEO of ReadSoft.
Vattenfall’s investment objectives are to automate the process as much as
possible. With support from the time of purchase, and advanced system support
from ReadSoft, whose solutions are fully integrated into the SAP system, the
process can be automated to the fullest. An increased share of e-invoices also
minimizes manual labor and is in line with the company's environmental policy.
“We are delighted that Vattenfall gives us increased confidence to handle this
process that is so important to them. It is one of the best evidences to get
that our solutions satisfy the needs of the market,” says Charlotte Darth,
Managing Director of ReadSoft Sweden AB.
