ATLANTA, Dec. 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hillphoenix Inc., a Dover Company, is pleased to announce that its Advansor by Hillphoenix CO2 Booster Refrigeration System has received UL listing in both the United States and Canada. With this new designation, HFC-free CO2 transcritical refrigeration by Hillphoenix is now available to customers in North America.
Dover acquired Denmark-based Advansor A/S in November 2011. The Danish company specializes in the design and manufacture of HFC-free CO2 transcritical refrigeration and heat pump systems for supermarkets and light industrial applications. Advansor and Hillphoenix combined have more than 750 CO2 systems operating in supermarkets in the United States, Europe, Canada and South America, making them the largest manufacturer of CO2 refrigeration systems in the world.
Advansor by Hillphoenix CO2 booster refrigeration systems are compliant with the Machinery and Pressure Equipment Directive – MD (06/42/EC) and PED (97/23/EC) – and are CE marked in accordance with rules of the European Union. Hillphoenix can now add the UL mark to its extensive list of European and U.S. designations.
