Family Supportive Housing Receives Holiday Support

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 13, 2012) - Silicon Valley-based firm Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Inc. presented Family Supportive Housing with a $1,000 check. This donation was the seventh installment of Labhart Miles' $10,000 Charity Initiative, which will run through March 2013. A new charity will be selected to receive a gift each month in honor of the firm's 10^th anniversary.

"Without the generosity of people like Bill & Monika, Family Supportive Housing would be unable to provide urgent shelter and supportive services to homeless families with children living in Santa Clara County," said Beth Leary, Executive Director of Family Supportive Housing. "This donation comes at an especially critical time as we strive to raise the funding needed to provide the essentials during the holiday season."

Family Supportive Housing is the only shelter in the South Bay Area committed to the entire family. Their mission is to provide temporary shelter and supportive services to homeless families in Santa Clara County, while empowering them to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency in the community. Family Supportive Housing has three distinct service areas that include the San Jose Family Shelter, Bridges AfterCare and GlennArt Arms. All three encourage families to stay intact while addressing their needs for food, shelter, education and employment.

Labhart Miles will select charities in a variety of fields, from food banks and soup kitchens to children's organizations. In addition to non-profits that are near and dear to the principals' hearts, they're looking for causes that provide valuable service to the greater community.
