NorthStar Ford Group Celebrates the Holidays With a $3,600 Donation to the Fort McMurray Food Bank

FORT MCMURRAY, AB--(Marketwire - Dec 21, 2012) -  NorthStar Ford Group donated $3,600 to the Fort McMurray Food Bank on December 4, with a challenge to other local auto dealers to meet or beat the amount.

Marty Giles, owner of NorthStar Ford Group, knows the importance of supporting local organizations. "The team at NorthStar Ford Group believes giving back to local charities and organizations is a must, especially during the holiday season. We are pleased to do our part to strengthen the community as a whole," said Giles.

NorthStar Ford Group raised $1,800 during its 50/50 raffle, with Holly Boos, the night's big winner, donating $500 of her winnings. Marty and Dennine Giles matched the team's donation to bring the total to $3,600. To show their appreciation, members of the Fort McMurray Food Bank took NorthStar Ford's social committee members on a tour of the new facility.
