InVisage Names Prominent Industry Technologists to Top Engineering and Manufacturing Posts

MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 22, 2013) - InVisage, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based startup revolutionizing imaging, today announced it has added two prominent and respected industry executives to lead the engineering and manufacturing efforts for its QuantumFilm™ sensors. Joining InVisage are David Boisvert as vice president of engineering and Robin Cheung as vice president of materials and manufacturing.

Boisvert brings more than 25 years experience in mixed-signal CMOS design to his new role at InVisage. Previously, he founded the analog signal-processing group at Eastman Kodak and served as a design director for Texas Instruments. He also held a number of leadership positions at National Semiconductor, including leading the High Speed Signal Path business unit, and serving as a strategic technologist. Boisvert holds several patents in the areas of image sensor design and mixed signal processing for imaging applications. He holds the PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Cheung joins InVisage from Qs Semiconductor, where he served as vice president of technology. His career spans more than 30 years in all phases of semiconductor production, and includes leadership positions at Unity Semiconductor, Applied Materials, AMD and American Microsystems. Cheung holds 94 patents in the area of semiconductor manufacturing and was a founding member of the International Interconnect Technology Conference (IITC). Mr. Cheung holds the M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
