Brentwood Chiropractor Offers Health Talks to Promote Preventive Care

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Feb. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A Brentwood chiropractor is showing his commitment to preventative care and health education by making himself available for health talks in a variety of public environments. Dr. Quinn W. Uzelman of Premier Family Chiropractic speaks on a wide range of subjects related to chiropractic care and its role in overall health and wellness, with an emphasis on prevention of illnesses and injuries. "It is my hope that by educating the public on preventative health issues, we will see a higher degree of overall wellness in the Brentwood area," says Dr. Uzelman.

The practitioner is a member of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, an organization that provides keynote speakers for health workshops and any other events aimed at highlighting health topics. Its roster of speakers includes a spectrum of experienced health and wellness professionals, each of whom stands ready to speak on a variety of topics related to his particular field of expertise. Dr. Uzelman's guest speaking topics include such general wellness issues as his "Three Solutions to Health" (which he cites as chiropractic care, cleansing and nutritional supplements), combating sleep issues and reversing fatigue.

"Our clinic has always felt strongly that maintaining and enhancing ongoing health is always preferable to having to treat a preventable disease or disorder," says Dr. Uzelman. Additionally, the chiropractor speaks on specific musculoskeletal problems such as sports injuries, work-related injuries such as repetitive motion disorders, and auto accident injuries.

Dr. Uzelman states that he is available for guest speaking at practically any type of company or institution, including churches, businesses, non-profit organizations and trade or professional association events. "Health and wellness issues impact everyone in society, regardless of where they work or what organizations they belong to," he says. He notes that many businesses have launched their own corporate wellness programs in an effort to improve employee health, morale and productivity while reducing absenteeism: "I'm always happy to address health issues and provide wellness tips for any organizations actively concerned about their members' well-being."

The Brentwood chiropractor also expresses an enthusiasm for guest speaking at health workshops alongside other health and wellness professionals. These events, he says, are already aimed at increasing public awareness of various health issues, ensuring a captive audience genuinely interested in learning more about how they can keep themselves and their loved ones well. "Raising the level of overall wellness in this part of the state is a team effort involving talented professionals across all holistic health disciplines," he explains. "Health workshops and wellness fairs are an ideal environment for these talks."

In addition to the health talks provided by Dr. Uzelman, Premier Family Chiropractic provides chiropractic adjustment, massage therapy and other supportive treatments for auto accident injuries, sports injuries, allergies, illnesses and chronic pain disorders for Brentwood, Spring Hill, Cool Springs, Nashville and Franklin residents.
