What:
On Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Silicon Valley's Computer History Museum, the FIDO Alliance will hold its first public Seminar. The event will introduce organizations to the work and strategic objectives of the FIDO Alliance.
The event will feature the value of an open industry standard for online and mobile secure authentication. There will be hands-on demonstrations of the open FIDO protocol in action on several devices and methods working within many online and mobile applications.
The seminar will provide an opportunity to interact with FIDO Alliance members to ensure a thorough understanding of FIDO's technical approach and global ecosystem development intent.

The first FIDO Alliance members event is an opportunity for those interested in joining the Alliance and learning more about its goals to interact with the founders of the FIDO Alliance, hear more about what inspired its creation get a glimpse of what the future of online authentication will look like.

Attendees will include FIDO Alliance leaders and members and FIDO Alliance Technical and Marketing working groups. FIDO Alliance leaders will speak at the event to explain what the FIDO Alliance is, what the group has already done and what is planned now.
Attendees expected range from systems architects and product managers to security executives (CISOs). The event will conclude with a town-hall style feedback session where all attendees will participate.
