SYRACUSE, N.Y., Feb. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Anaren, Inc. (Nasdaq:ANEN) today announced that its Anaren Integrated Radio (AIR) module team has launched a wiki (located at http://www.anaren.com/air-wiki-zigbee) in support of its newly expanded family of radio modules suitable for wireless communication based on the ZigBee® Standard (part numbers: A2530x24x). One of several free assets offered to Anaren customers under its AIR Support for ZigBee solution, Anaren's new wiki is both rich with information and ever expanding, since it allows user contributions typical of such wikis.
"There are currently just under 100 pages of useful content on this wiki," says Anaren's Corporate Business Development Manager, Mark Bowyer. "Everything from code and applications examples that programmers can use in their ZigBee application -- to insights on the ZigBee protocol in general -- can be found here. Its usefulness will increase as content is added over time by our approved wiki contributors within our AIR Corps user community."
Bowyer added that the wiki also includes some product information specific to Anaren's ZigBee related products, including its CC2530-based AIR modules and related development tools, which include a new CC2530 BoosterPack kit for development of ZigBee standard applications using Texas Instruments' MSP430™ and Stellaris® LaunchPad kits.
